Spenser cofounded Amplitude in 2012 to help companies build better products through product analytics. He previously worked as an algorithmic trader at DRW Trading Group and studied Bioengineering at MIT where he won Battlecode, MIT’s largest programming competition, twice.

Shadi is a passionate, seasoned technology leader and architect experienced in building and managing highly proficient engineering teams. Prior to Amplitude, she worked at Palo Alto networks as a VP of Engineering. She has a Ph.D. in computer engineering from University of British Columbia and a B.Sc. from Sharif University of Technology.

Ron Gill is the former CFO of NetSuite and currently an Operating Partner at Lead Edge Capital and a board member of HubSpot, Amplitude, Benchling, and others. Prior to joining NetSuite, Mr. Gill was vice president, finance, at Hyperion Solutions. Previously, he held a variety of financial positions with several of the world’s largest technology companies, including SAP, Dell, and Sony. Mr. Gill holds a Master of International Business Studies degree from the University of South Carolina and a B.A. from Baylor University.

Pat is a Partner at Sequoia Capital, where he has had the privilege of working with Amplitude, Attentive, Cribl, Drift, Embark, HubSpot (HUBS), Jive, MarkLogic, Medallia (MDLA), Namely, Okta (OKTA), OpenDNS, Qualtrics, ServiceNow (NOW), Snowflake (SNOW), Sumo Logic (SUMO), Sunrun (RUN), Zoom (ZM), and some others. Pat holds a B.S. from Boston College, grew up in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming, and now lives in the Bay Area with his wife and two daughters.

Some of his past exits include AppDynamics (acq. by Cisco); BladeLogic (NASDAQ: BLOG, acquired by BMC); Bazaarvoice (NASDAQ: BV); Coupa (NASDAQ:COUP); Glassdoor (acquired by Recruit Holdings); Guidewire Software (NYSE: GWRE); Marketo; Nutanix (NASDAQ: NTNX); Omniture; RealPage (NASDAQ: RP); and Wayfair (NYSE: W). Neeraj holds a BS in computer science from Cornell and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has been recognized on the Forbes Midas List, which ranks the top 100 venture capitalists in the world, for the past ten consecutive years.

In addition, Hoang was CEO at Unisfair, CFO at SideStep, Inc., and held management positions at NetIQ and Deloitte

Erica Schultz is President of Field Operations at Confluent, the real-time data streaming platform, and oversees sales, business development and customer success teams globally. Prior to Confluent, Erica served as New Relic’s Chief Revenue Officer where she played an instrumental role in driving the company’s growth since the company’s IPO in 2014. Prior to that, she spent nearly 17 years at Oracle Corporation, where she pioneered the company’s cloud go-to-market strategy.

Eric Vishria is a general partner at Benchmark, where he focuses on early stage infrastructure and enterprise software. Vishria brings a long and varied background as an executive in technology startups and public companies, including consumer and enterprise, and across a range of functions including product, marketing and operations. He led Benchmark’s investments in and holds board seats on Confluent, Blue Hexagon, Benchling, Contentful, Cerebras Systems, and Bugsnag. Eric graduated from Stanford with a BS in Mathematical & Computational Science.

Catherine Wong is currently Chief Product Officer and Executive Vice President, Engineering at Domo. Prior to joining Domo, Ms. Wong was Vice President of Engineering at Adobe, and previously held various roles at Omniture, Inc. prior to its acquisition by Adobe. She currently serves as a member of the board of directors of Amplitude and the Women Tech Council. Ms. Wong received a B.S. in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.

Elisa Steele is the former CEO of Namely, and currently serves on the boards of multiple publicly-held technology companies, including Bumble, JFrog, Procore, and Splunk. Prior to Namely, Ms. Steele held various leadership positions at Jive Software, most recently serving as Chief Executive Officer and President. Ms. Steele has also previously held executive leadership positions at Microsoft, Skype, and NetApp. Ms. Steele received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and an M.B.A. from San Francisco State University.

As Amplitude’s General Counsel, Liz Fisher brings to Amplitude extensive expertise spanning the legal landscape from business litigation to in-house counsel. Prior to Amplitude, she was vice president, deputy general counsel at Postmates, where she supported the company’s rapid expansion by scaling the legal team, providing strategic advice to executive leadership, and negotiating partnerships and deals. Liz began her career as a litigator at Quinn Emanuel following a clerkship with the U.S. Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Jim Whitehurst is a Senior Advisor for IBM, a Special Advisor for Silver Lake, and an international advisory board member of Santander Bank. In addition to Amplitude, he is a board member of United Airlines. Mr. Whitehurst has extensive experience scaling enterprise organizations. He joined IBM as President through Red Hat, where he served as CEO at the time of the company’s acquisition. Prior to joining Red Hat, Mr. Whitehurst was Chief Operating Officer at Delta Air Lines where he drove international expansion and oversaw all aspects of airline operations from sales to strategy. He holds an MBA from Harvard, a B.A. in economics and computer science from Rice University, and a General Course degree from the London School of Economics.

Lambert is passionate about creating customer-centric cultures that fuel lasting customer partnerships. At Amplitude, he oversees the global customer success organization and leads customer engagement and retention strategy. Prior to Amplitude, Lambert spent six years leading customer success at DocuSign and prior to that he was responsible for the strategy and direction of Adobe's Global Services team for nearly a decade.
